TokyoDex - Video Post-Production
Video Production Intern — Tokyo, Japan
The Story
TokyoDex is a Tokyo-based creative agency that blends brand storytelling with the city’s vibrant art scene. Their team collaborates with local artists to produce experiential installations and visual content that bring brand narratives to life. During my internship, they needed polished video pieces that captured the heart of these collaborations. My role was to help shape these visual stories—turning raw footage into clear, engaging videos that reflected the agency’s artistic energy and helped potential clients understand what makes TokyoDex unique.
What I Made
Edited multiple promotional videos in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, transforming raw clips into story-driven, visually consistent pieces.
Organized and prepared media for the website, ensuring each project had cohesive and brand-aligned visuals.
Assisted artists with installation materials and documented visuals used for internal showcases and client presentations.
How I Approached It
I approached each edit like a miniature art piece—focusing on pacing, color, and structure to let both the artist and the brand identity shine.
I aligned the tone and rhythm of each video with TokyoDex’s aesthetic: clean, creative, energetic, and rooted in authentic local artistry.
I collaborated closely with producers and artists, keeping workflows organized and making sure each asset connected smoothly to the broader story.
